Vacaville captured the East Bay Super Regional title with a 17-7 victory over host Brentwood on Sunday.
The local squad will represent Northern California in the Zone event, which starts on Thursday. Vacaville will face Washington in the first round at 5 p.m.
Brentwood jumped out to a 4-2 lead after one inning on Sunday, but Vacaville took control with a 10-run outburst in the third inning. Vacaville scored two more runs in the fourth, and put the 10-run rule into effect with three runs in the fifth.
Brian McClellin picked up the win with 3 2/3 innings of work, allowing three hits and three walks. Hunter Dorraugh finished.
Dorraugh also homered, doubled and drove in four runs to lead a balanced, 17-hit offense. Michael Brown drove in two runs with a home, double and single.
McClellin chipped in a double and two singles. Jared Breedwell and Jacoby Chicovsky added two singles each.
Jackson Forbes, Ethan Cardwell, Owen Cuffe, Bradley Taylor and Diego Maldanado all finished with singles. Bubba Brown stole two bases.
The team is managed by Rich Breedwell, with coaches Mike McClellin and Shawn Dorraugh.
Other teams in the Zone event are Hawaii, Southern California No. 1, SoCal No. 2, West Covina, Queen Creek (Ariz.) and host Walnut.
